Information we collect

• Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifier, and verification status.
• Business facts you provide or approve, such as business name, category, address, phone number, website, and service area.
• Data from services you choose to connect, including Google Business Profile account and location identifiers, listing facts, connection status, and permitted performance data.
• Technical and security information, such as IP address, browser information, request logs, and error records.

Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication. NearbySignal does not receive or store your plaintext password.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, provision customer workspaces, verify approved business facts, run visibility tests and audits, provide requested results, maintain security, troubleshoot the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use connected Google data for advertising.

Google and other connected services

A connection begins only after an authorized user grants permission. NearbySignal requests the minimum access needed for the selected feature and uses connected data only to provide that feature to the customer. OAuth credentials are protected separately from application data. You can disconnect a source in NearbySignal when that control becomes available or revoke Google access through your Google Account connections.

NearbySignal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

When we share information

We share information only with service providers that operate the product, such as Google Cloud and Firebase; with a connected provider when you direct us to do so; during a business transaction with appropriate safeguards; or when required for law, security, or the protection of rights. Service providers may use information only to perform services for us.

Retention and security

We keep account and business information while the account is active and as needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. Authorized raw source data is generally configured to expire within 30 days; derived results may be retained longer to show trends and customer history. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed. We use access controls, encryption in transit, managed secret storage, and logging, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information, and you may revoke connected-service access. Some records may be retained when required by law or for security. The service is intended for business users who are at least 18 years old.
